What it treats

Typical dosing

OTC adult: 200–400 mg every 4–6 hours, max 1200 mg/day without medical supervision. Take with food.

Side effects

Common: stomach upset, heartburn. Serious: GI bleeding, kidney problems, increased cardiovascular risk with long-term use.
